My Glass Cleaner

IMG_1590/Think Green
I’m always concern about chemicals around the house. I know that chemicals could be one reason for cancer and illnesses out there! I would stay away from chemicals completely if I have all the money but for now I’ll try to make some alternative products. For my glass cleaner I’m using this recipe below and it works as the same as conventional glass cleaner.
I bought those spray bottles at dollar store then fill up with vinegar and water. Shake gently. You can add essential oil if you don’t like the smell of vinegar. The soap is needed to dissolve the waxy buildup left behind by conventional cleaners. You may leave out the soap once the buildup is gone.
1 cup distilled white vinegar
1 cup water
½ tsp. liquid dish soap
3-8 drops essential oil

Umbilical cord blood

Green Fact

A study by the Environment Working Group tested the umbilical-cord blood of 10 American babies born in 2004 and found an average of 200 industrial chemicals  and pollutants  in each baby’s blood.

I am not surprise at all with this fact because I know it’s true. If a mother is working in an industrial company that uses chemicals then your body has exposed to it.  If you are also an alcoholic I’m pretty sure that’s toxic and can pass on to a baby. They say that breastfeeding is the best milk and I agree.  But if a mother has too much chemicals in her body then the baby can get that too! What do you think?
